干涉试图打破当代艺术只被社会精英所欣赏的局限，而使之成为大多数人生活的一部分。
希望日常生活的程序、习惯性的行为、在公共空间打断或停顿一阵子能够通过艺术家的作品给人改变一贯性的思维。

Interventions
Starting from Friday, January 19th, 2007
Form of exhibition
Activities of artists are all carried out from January 19th.
Artists decide on a spot according to specific program requirements (within the city of Shanghai).
Interventions in the exhibition have no regular art audience as in art institutions, but happen in public space and capture the people from their regular life routine. Thus, the combination of space artists have picked and the audience the work piece has picked constitutes a weighty part of the exhibition.
Interventions try to break the boundaries of contemporary art as a part of the social elite, but to have it at the part of the most of people’s life. Hopefully that interruption or pause of routine life and behavior through artistic works in public space can lead to the altering of routine thoughts.
