Born in Yangjiang, (Guangdong Province) in 1970, graduated from the
printmaking department of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1992.
Zheng Guogu has been known since mid-1990s for his experimental
photography, scrolls and installation. The artist has participated in
the Documenta 12, Kassel (2007).
Other important exhibitions include: “Between Past and Future: New
Photography and Video From China”, ICP International Center of
Photography, New York (2004); “The 50th Venice Biennale: Canton
Express”, Venice (2003); “Shanghai Biennale”, Shanghai Art Museum (2002)
and “Hot Pot”, Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo, Norway (2001).
鄭國谷1970年出生於廣東省陽光市，1992畢業於廣州美術學院版畫系。今年曾出席
的重要國際展覽包括：“真實：來自中國的當代藝術”(Tate Modern Liverpool),
“文獻展12”（卡塞爾），以及格拉茨美術館（奧地利）。
其他近年重要展覽包括：“在過去和未來之間：來自中國的新攝影和錄影”（ICP國
際攝影中心，紐約，2004）；“第五十屆威尼斯雙年展：廣東快車”（意大利）；
“上海雙年展”（上海美術館，2002）及“煲”（奧斯陸美術館，挪威，2001）。
