藝術家創作自述：
創作為我帶來一種自我釋放的感覺，使我可以在作品中超越了壓抑、神秘、激情等種種人類的精神慾望，
同時使我獲得極強的生命原動力，利用畫面拓展個人的審美局限和藝術視野，從中尋找一種真正屬於自己的自由，
創作同時也是一種個人對社會的審視，在社會急速發展中個人的種種情緒被迅速攪動起來，
痛心、批判、宣洩等轉換成激烈的能量，使我的畫面獲得一種表達的快感。
“超慾感──吳方洲畫展”將展出十多幅最新繪畫作品。
Artist’s words:
The process of art creation enables me to give vent to spiritual desires of human like depression, mystery and passion. At the same time it provides me with the strongest motive in life - through which I can expand my aesthetic boundaries and broaden my scope of vision when painting and seeking the freedom that is truly mine. One’s observation of society is also apparent in one’s artistic creations. Rapid social change leads to all kinds of emotions and desires being stirred up personally - sorrow, criticism and vent transform into energy that I transfer to my paintings with great delight, as exemplified in my latest paintings, which will be displayed in the exhibition Beyond Desire – Paintings by Ng Fong Chao.
